ya I've been riding st Croix trailsfor the past 3 days. doing the holiday stuff at my ma' s house in New Richmond. the trails are ok. snow cover gets thin in some open fields but it wasn't bad enough to keep me from putting over 100 miles on last night.

How is the northern part of the state been doing on snow?

We had a little snow around Christmas time, but that's long gone. Now It's looking like I might get up to 6" of drifting snow tonight. I was never a ditch banger, but it looks like that's all there is going to be.

dude. I rode around my yard in Golden Valley, there was enough in my yard, so there is enough on the trails and lakes, no its nowhere near ideal, but its rideable. you sound like one of those guys that won't ride unless we get the 10" storm, which we get about once every 4 years. may as well sell the sled if thats the case cuz our winters just arent the same as they used to be. we got about 6 weeks tops left of riding, so I will take what I can get. Lets go

Things are starting to look up for us in The southeast corner. Right now there is somewhere around 5"-7" on the ground, its all been drifted and the fields are bare for the most part. Talking another 2"-4" tonight and a big storm system moving in this weekend.

Maybe I'll get to ride yet this year?!
