let me first say NOT that i would condone having a few beers on sleds ( no lectures, please
but i was talking to a friend's parents and they said back in the 80s they used to take a vacation to a cabin in pennsylvania or southwest NY somewhere (were located in CLEVELAND OH) and they could rent snowmobiles and drive around from small town to small town and hit a few pubs here and there and then come back to the cabin they stayed in for the night.
i know you can do it in canada and go for hundreds of miles and stay at another motel way far from where you rented the sleds.
point is, im in Cleveland , and i have 6-8 friends who are tired of the everyday cabin in southern ohio and hiking. i was thinking, hey! maybe we can go somewhere, rent sleds, buzz around the snowmobile town and have fun.
i can do that by my pad, but 6 sleds.... ehhh, thats too much for the local sheriff.
anyone know any getaways that i could plan for february? we can go from southern MI , all ohio, western PA , and southwest NY .
thanks in advance!
