i think mine is the worst...

we got 1" yesterday...but 40mph winds blew it all away. giving me mostly a thin layer of ice and a 5 foot drift in fromt of my garage. Just 60 miles, yes 60 miles east of us, they got over a foot. and there is no lake effect snow here...we just missed it alltogether...what a tease of a storm.

Ours is mostly gone here too. We got about an inch last night, so the grass is almost covered again...

We had about 7 inches, then saturday it rained all day long and we were down to about 1" . Then Sunday and Sunday night we got about 5" but it was so windy that theres places with 8 inches on the ground and places showing grass.

They've been teasing us for the past week, saying we're supposed to get snow during the night, have yet to actually get any. They're calling for snow tonight, so hopefully it'll actually snow this time!

It is snowing hard here, once again. I am pleased. I pulled my 2 place trailer around out of the back yard, as I am foreseeing the Niles trail system being open if it snows for the next few days, and I am hoping to go out New Years Eve day, Lunkers to OTI to Irish/Spartan and up onto the M140 loop by Napier/M-140. Anyone know if the section that was closed last year has been re-opened or not? Some idiot decided to go off-trail and ruined a lot of sapling/seedlings, and the farmer pulled his support for that section of the trail system last season. I am sure they were "totally extreme", so it was like totally worth it (insert sarcasm here if not like totally like obvious, extreme dudes and dude-ettes) I must be getting old, because all I want to do is go for a nice ride on the trails, at sane/safe speeds! rant terminated....

Still snowing here, can't see the grass sticking up any more! I could ride the back 102 acres right now! Gonna give it another hour and go for a ride, and if anyone is on from the Niles area, let me know if the trails are covered there as well yet?
