Angry South Eastern WI

The trails down here are muddy and beat. We've had a lack of snow this year, and last year. We went up to Big Bay MI about a month ago, great riding up there. We have 8 inches of snow here, but the trails are just beat.
I hope we get some more snow soon, or it's time to say goodbye to Hartland, and go back up to Big Bay.

when i was up in big bear a few weekends ago, the trail leading from marquette to big bear was horrible. i hope it was better when you went. for three miles or more it was un groomed, and up and down up and down. you couldnt go more than 20 mph w/ o rattleing your kidneys out of place

Trails are all mud here as well. I am heading up to the UP on Thrusday morning. Gonna be up there for 7 days. I'll be in the town of Republic. It's about 45 min South of Marquette. I can't wait. I called my buddy who's house I will be staying at and who I ride with. They have a good 3 feet on the ground. Can't wait.

Hey us WI guys shoud get together one weekend and go up. That would be kinda cool. I'm a member of an internet car club and we get together all the time in the summer with our cars and hang out. Go to the track and stuff. We copuld do that too, Just a thought.

Talking

New member here from Milwaukee.

I have a cabin 3 miles south of the Up on the Menominee river... Great riding up there indeed. Hopefully by next year i hope to add to sleds 2 my arsenel. But indeed, us WI guys and UP guys should get together for a weekend. Imagine if there was 10-20 of us hitting the trail at the same time

That sounds like a great time. We need to plan something for probably next year.

The snow is melting fast is the U.P though. I just got back from the Republic. It's about an hour north of Iron Mountain. We had 50* weather all weekend. there's still snow, but its melting fast.

Well i didnt make it to the U.P i went up to Hayward to a place called LCO casino. The Trail is right at the hotel nice place trails were in good condition but sunday they realy went to crap. Not a bad ride for a weekend get away but they will need some more snow for the trails to be rideable again it got up to 50 on sunday and the trails were realy melting quick.

Here in Janesville, and Rock County last week the trails were in the best shape they've been in forever, but they're just horrible now. Hopefully we'll get snow tonight.

same situation here by mount horeb. the trail were perfect the last week, i was actually breaking the trail wednesday morning, but now i don't even want to go out cause i can see theyre all rutted up and melting. i hope we get enough snow tonight to make up for it. it's predicted 2-4 inches, so probably not going to help to much, except it will be colder.
