What a great idea...a nice dinner, a bottle of wine, and a snowmobile safety test. He'd be all for it! haha

Not yet - Tim's got a few things he wants to check on the sleds first. I am a full-time student/part-time worker, and he's a full-time worker/part-time student...it doesn't leave a lot of time for snowmobiling yet.

Plus, I have finals the 8th through the 21st, then it's home for the holidays. Hopefully we'll get a couple of short rides in, though.

The CD has the written exam on it. Basically you'll take the lessons on the CD. At the END of the CD there is a written multiple choice, fill in the blank test that you can take as many times as you need to pass.

Once you pass, it'll let you know, you print out the results of your test, that show the date, your info, and then you'll send in the print out along with the fee to the DNR and your all said and done.

I was able to at least get some good miles on my sled. It normally takes me 2 hours to get from my Folks to my place, but not last night, it took 4. What a crappy drive... Also, both of my sleds started to act up. Clutch noise in the Jag and a broken recoil rope in the Ski-Doo. I swear if you run that wide open a lot, it will start to back fire and sound like it is running on one cylinder. Pull the plugs, torch them, and then it runs great. This will be my 4th recoil rope. It is highly pissing me off!
