Sled Tour

Have we ever done a tour type ride? Start off here ride to there, spend the night, go somewhere else, spend the night, head off again? Make a big circle?
That to me sounds like a blast!

The Michigan boys do a ride like that every year. Check for the annual Michigan ride threads.

my neighbor does something similar for a week every winter. however, what they do is park their trucks and trailers at one motel (the fist night they stay), the next day all but one guy will ride. that one guy will drive one trailer, his sled, and the groups gear/bags to the next hotel where they meet up. then they rotate for the next leg. so basically everyone will get 6-ish days of riding, and one day of driving (depending on the size of the group).

my dad and i have wanted to go from sult st marie to copper harbor and back on a long weekend staying at hotels (just on the northern trails along superior)...and packing our gear on our sleds. the way we ride, we can do 200 miles in a day.

That sounds like fun to me. I was thinking the wife could bring the truck up to the next motel and sit by the fire and read a book?

That sounds like something my wife would enjoy. But she would prolly want to ride her F7 with the rest of the gang too.
