I carry tools and a tow rope!! And bring a shop on wheels with me!! I don't think it really maters how old or how much prep you do, anybody can break anything!
If you didn't break somethin you didn't ride hard enough!

I'm in this year. Hopefully I won't spend the whole freaking weekend in the hotel parking lot trying to re-build my motor and carbs to get the thing running. So far she starts and idles, but it is still high 80's low 90's here. Hard to tune for cold weather like that.

NP, But try not to break it AGAIN this year. I plan to have a fully functioning sled this time (Thanks to the help from Dennis working on it)so i won't be able to pick you up.

Have been fixing my old one. Looking at possibly getting a 2000 Arctic Cat ZR600 EFI. Local shop has it for about $2000.

Just a suggestion from one of us frequently snowless central Wiscon types... Put a time and location in on the first page.
My wife lets me off the leash sometimes if I plan far enough ahead. I've got few friends that would enjoy coming along too.
Thanks,
Bill

What are we waiting for to set the date? I would suggest on rotating between 3 areas to keep the diversity so that way most everyones favorite place will be rode every 3 years and we are not relagated to one area. Any ones thaughts.
