The main trail from IR to Gaylord is an old RR bed....they "paved" it this summer with crushed limestone. It could be a long ride if it gets whooped out, tho!

I think we need to get a plan together.
I will kinda get it started, Please make corrections where needed.
So IR on part of friday,(depending when people get up there) and all day Sat. right?
Then Waters/gaylord Sunday?

Where are we going to meet up friday or Sat morning?
I am guessing we will be there midday friday.
Then Go down to Waters/Gaylord Sunday?
Is there lodgeing in the waters area for Sunday night?
Can someone please post some info on Waters lodgeing for me for Sunday night?

One more question, Are we going to cross the bridge with the snowmobiles?
I think I read you did that on the last trip, or priced it anyway.
Something like $10 a sled to cross. I dont know about others in the group, But we would like to go across the Mack. Bridge with the sleds.

Ray's Retreat Country Inn, Gaylord Lodging, Gaylord, Michigan
The Waters Inn, Gaylord Area Lodging, Waters, Michigan

IRS can chime in on where to meet in IR. On Sunday, we can meet at Ray's Retreat.

I'd be up for the bridge cross just to say we did it but i'm indifferent about it. depends on the other side and how long it takes. Hey IRS didn't you say there was an outside hockey rink in IR will it be open? Are we riding Sat nite at all(after a full day i might but dad and wife won't)

There is a real nice community rink in Cooperation Park....just down the road from where you're staying. There should be ice if it's cold out!!
