grand marais from the 8th - 11th?

going to be in grand marais from the 8th to the 11th riding...

just wondering if anyone would be up there

Trail 431 from trail 8 to 88 was being logged earlier this year, but I think it might be open by now. Not sure if it is being groomed though (wasn't two weekends ago).

yeah it is still closed... well the signs says it is but the main thing was it wis 10 miles of rough trails i just got back from there on monday and now im going back tomorrow morning...

want to make a stop by the falls cause the whole family is going.

anyone know of any good places to find some fields with powder?

Yeah 443 too. I think 431 was re routed a little and 443 was the one that was closed for logging. It didn't seem like they were grooming the 10 mile stretch that wasn't being logged either. There are a lot of fields over towards Newberry and if you get in touch with some of the people up there, there is a place called the plains. Never went there but have heard good things. There are all kinds of places to dip off the trail though. Make sure you bring a GPS and a friend or two though.
