I heard the snow was thin over by Seney, so we only rode trails #9 over to #8 then up to Grand Marais. The snow in town at Grand Marais was very thin but the rest of the trail was pretty good.

I've been out acouple of times, but the trails pretty much suck donkey balls. We really need a good dumping for ideal riding here in my area

I've been around the yard a few times, but I'm heading up to the cottage next weekend so hopefully we get dumped on between now and then.

The weekend on the 19th I was up in the Kalkaska area. THe state trails were junk, but we took some seasonal roads and put a respectable 200 miles on. It was overall a good time. Anyone in or around Bradford, PA know what kinda snow there is? I'm heading back to PA the weekend of the 9th and was wondering how the snow was.

YEP!!!! after a big snow the place is packed, if you like drag racing or hill climbing thats the place to go. Even though it gets crowded it's still pretty fun, you meet a lot of people too.

YEP 4" to ride. The place is pretty big it's like a 8000 acre park the lake is at one end. The place I like to go is the gravel pit, lots of large rolling hills to climb some are over 100 feet tall, tons of jumps. Not a lot of big drag racing but you can find someone to race if you look hard enough. also about 20 miles of trails.

No way. Not with that Headless Horseman hanging around there.
Riding is OK here now. We've gotten a little bit at a time recently, like and inch or two per day for the last week, sometimes 4-5 inches.
Some places were supposed to get up to 3 feet between last night and today! We had clear skies with a full moon but it was around zero. The sleds ran strong all night!
PS-I found ya!

i have been to ironwood twice. lots of snow there last saturday but it was cold. i would like to go back maybe one more time this year but i want to go with some people more about the riding and less about the drinking, it get expensive to drive all the way there then not do much riding.

Island lake rec is located at Kensington Rd and Grand river. The sled staging area is at the spring mill pond parking lot, there must by at least 4 inches of snow to ride there. And my ride is a 02 Mxz 600 X package, thet I took the studded track off and put on a 121-15-1.25 camoplast ripsaw, all black wheels and peeled off some of the graphics....It looks like this
