Thanks Mouse! Florida has got fires right now and it bad. They have had no rain in quite some time.

THey're on the winning end of a wildfire down in Ogamaw (SP) county, and neighboring counties right now. The fire has burned nearly 6000 acres. The cause of the fire was from a campfire.

we finally got a good rain lastnight. More rain is expected for the rest of the week. Thank god. The mushrooms are poppin now.

Yep Black moral mushrooms. They are starting to pop up. They grow for about 3 weeks then the white morals come up. Restraunts pay about $12-15 per pound for the blacks, and about $14-18 for the whites. I'm not sure what the price is this year though.

for example how many inches of rain = one foot of snow?

One inch of rain equals about a foot of fluffy snow or about eight inches of weight snow.
