Thats a Z28. Heres mine, I just added nitrous, and also just bought a edelbrock victor jr intake today The car used to be a 305 tpi, but it blew the tranny. While that was out I thought well I'm only to mounts away from pulling the motor too. lol. That turned into a full new drivetrain and exhaust. By next spring I wanna be at 400hp at the crank without nitrous

Here it is in its winter hibernation

Yes both of mine are 84 Z28s, a few years before the IROCs.
Yes we do alot of fishing, usually go for a couple of 2 or 3 week fishing trips every summer.

i thought it was an iroc because of the hood, i thought only the irocs had hoods like that.
formula_canuk- why shoot for 400 at the crank with heads like you have, with those i would be shooting for around 430 at the wheels?

I posted that before I got these heads. And yea now I'm shooting for 430 at the wheels. They were on a 355 similiar to mine, and it made 516 on the engine dyno. Add it a 17% loss due to drivetrain, and I figure 428hp. That hood was available back then, just had no louvers. My 85' isn't an iroc, they started in 86', and basically just thew in a 350. I beleive that in 84' the hood was fiberglass too
