I've got almost 400 transactions under my belt on eBay. Got burned 2x out of all of them. eBay insurance covered me both times. Lost $25 once, and $100 the other time. I've gotten some stuff real cheap, and sold a lot too. Not a bad place to trade, if you're cautious and pay attention to feedback.

My new clutch
My new clutch came today. I still need to install the spring and weights, but before I put it on, I have to get and install the carb boot. Then it will be ready for more snow.

Depends on where you get it. My price was $417.64 with tax. I used the spring and weights out of the previus clutch to save some $$$.
Installed it and the carb boot today and then went out and ran it in the yard some ( 3 inches of snow) engages very smooth at 4000 and pulles well to mid range. I did not feal that I should get on it too hard yet, not enough snow to allow for track slippage. That 1 in lug really bites into the ground and with the weight transfer, it puts almost all the power to the snow and pulls the skis at any speed.

Comet Pro-4
After a test ride, I turned the secondary spring tension all the way up. Sacrificeing some of the top end for better midrange and soft snow acceleration. It still will pin the speedo though.

When I replaced the belt, I had to reshim the index ( torque stop) because it was too tight. If I was to unhook the limiter straps, I think that it would wheelie a lot more, but I liket to be able to steer too.
