G-Dog,
Nice kart....my brother races a 250 shifter. I used to race karts back in the 70's & 80's. Actually finished 4th at the WKA Nationals in Daytona. B-Stock class (twin 100cc running on 100% methanol, I was 1 of a few that could get 100% thru a "stock" carb). Used to run at Mosport Park, too!!

Ever been to the indoor kart track just east of Pearson Airport ?? Can't remember the exact exit/street, but you can see it from the 401. What a blast!!

sesnopro - kart isn't a shifter, single speed with a 6.5hp Honda (but makes closer to 10 after boring/etc.)

snow freak....at least FWD is good for something, lol
One of my friends had a rental VW golf at school today....LOL...wouldn't do a burnout using e-brake (it was an auto) so we went like 20km/h in reverse then slammed it into drive and grabbed the e-brake....lol....just a bit of a smoke show

Magoo, next year for sure, it's on

Indian, wow man, 4th at WKA!? that's impressive! how big was the class? I've run at Mosport several times! very fast track there, my kart would run over 60mph down the hill, the shifters and 2-strokes must be doing WELL over 80! That would be 401 mini-indy your thinking of, I've been there, though never raced, I usually go to a different indoor place (Prokarts)

vr6 will do a burnout. probably the 1.8T then. though, you need a manual transmission to have more fun!

G, i wish it could be next year, but it would be unfair. you would have to race one of the following three-- 03 600 HO, 05/06 500SS, or 05/06 800 HO.

of course, there's the possibility i wont get a new sled, but a new car! then, we can race

so how's the mustang coming along? when do you think you'll be taking it up to a track?

i really dont care, for my first car. right now, it's looking like a buick custom. my next car will definetly be have a manual transmission. just went driving for the first time, and man is it easy. it was in a rental galante. i was hoping we'd still be renting the subaru (legacy), so i could try out the click shift, but we gave it back to hertz, and we're renting this one from the dealer where our car is at

there's nothing wrong with use the e-brake to do a burnout on a FWD car...I do it in my sunfire at least once a month

magoo, you never know, maybe my arctic-cat dealer will come over that day will a couple F7's

Mustang's coming along ok....just sitting in the trailer right now....waiting for warm weather to work on it. Sitting in my brothers rooms awaiting install are: Steeda Tri-ax shifter, Taylor Battery Box, and Russell Stainless Steel brake lines. and on order I have: A/C eliminator, and some weatherstripping that was needed.

First time on the track is mid-may for a training day, first time trials are the weekend after
