jKsled's Ride!!
i don't know if these links will work, but they are pics i posted on another forum.... anyways, this is my truck, 1986 ford ranger 4x4 2.9l. 3" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 35x12.5x15 swampers, two 12" polk audio subs + 800w amp, i customized the interior with a lot of switches and buttons for the lighting systems, push button start, etc.. cb radio, 5% tint, manual lockers, custom sound system (very loud).
this is my daily driver truck, i am constantly putting money into it for repairs (ugh!) but it's alright, cause i learn a lot that way. much of the modification to it was my work also. i haven't taken it into the mud yet, but i am planning on it soon. i do know it could climb a snow bank pretty easily though this winter!!! never got stuck in the snow, thats for sure! my next project, is obviously going to be a new paint job. i think i will keep it green, but it's peeling in many places right now. whoever painted it last didn't do a very good job... i am going to try to paint it at home, so we'll see how that project turns out, i guess

How the does the 2.9 ltr pull those 35's ok? One of the better motors better than the 3.0 ltr. Need to get a 5.0 under there lots of fun!!! Looks good miss mine but mine was just a single cab. Your just like me I'd rather do things myself if I can.

well, lets just say that it goes, but not real fast. i certainely wont ever be getting a speeding ticket. it's got good low end though, for how small the motor is, and it gets decent gas mileage for such big wheels. yeah, a v8 would be fun! i am considering a tranny swap this summer to a manual, with a 4.0L clutch/flywheel. good increase in efficiency over the old automatic, plus a bulletproof tranny....

Fords
I called to arrange a tow truck to come pick that FORD up off the side of the road for you. The tow truck is a real reliable truck, a DODGE.
