thanks everyone!

ptrapper65- to be exact no... but it does look very simaler to the 2nd movie one, mines not a turbo,,, so its got a different hood, hood bird and engine. But other then that its pretty much exact. And the 2nd movie uses a 80 mines a 81. When buying this as a project i looked at an 80 turbo like the movie one but it was in roughter shape then this one, so i passed on it. Also from the factory my car didnt come as a special edition... but i added everything that did from a special edition parts car i had to make a clone....and it is and exact S/E clone useing all factory gm special edition items/parts!

Nice pics. This is a snowmobile forum but you won't hear any complaints on your cars, especially the T/A! I've got a '79 in the shed, nothing like yours, and now you've got me dreaming again.I see the hood scoop shows 6.6 ltr,did you put in a 400 or 403?

The question of the day...How many beers did it take to finish your T/A???

yah the previous owner had put the 403 in it before i restored it from boxes. As for the beer i couldnt afford much when i was finishing it....but once it gets out of strage for the winter I do like to sit and drink a few while i look at her. Thats exactly what i did the day i took that pic.
as for the sled i fixed her up a tad,,still gotta do some more to it but that will have to wait till summer.....
