jKsled's "garage"

As an 18 year old, here are my two toys. A very large part of my life has been devoted to working on these lol, and they're now done to a point im proud to display them. i have learned a lot from working on these projects.

the truck- 1986 Ford Ranger 2.9L v6 4x4. 3"body and 3" suspension lift, 35x12.5 Super Swampers, Rims, custom magnaflow dual exhaust, aftermarket deck and speakers, 8"subs, custom sub box, and lots of mechanical work fixed on it since i bought it. I did everything to it myself, it has never been in a shop in my possesion, and im pretty proud of that this is my daily driver now, after i got T-boned in my first truck

the sled-1990 Ski Doo Formula MX 467. completely gone over this summer, all new bearings, top end, fuel lines, redone suspensions, seat, everything and anything, etc.. runs like a top, starts in half pull. I could replace the hood cause it's cracked and a hinge is broken, but looks don't bother me too much when the sled goes 90+mph! i regeared it last winter and it really flies for an older sled. i also have done everything to this sled myself, it was an awesome project that i have learned a lot from

and of course the homemade minibike me and a friend made last winter. it's pretty fun, and very loud!!

jw, does anybody know if anything other than a blower fan resistor could cause the fan only to work on 'high' on the Ranger? cause i replaced the resistor and nothing changed, so i think it must be wiring, but im not positive???

Switch itself could be bad!

The switch needs to be replaced. The rheostat (variable resistor) is fried.

It only works on HIGH because at this spot the rheostat is by-passed.

I really really like the look of that Ranger, a nice green and not even a spec of rust or flaked paint. Shes a beauty.

Fixin up old to bypass the new, atta boy!

actually, the paint job was pretty bad. it came like that when i bought it, and it was a home job i think. it looks good on the sides, but i think they forgot to put a clear coat over the hood, so it is starting to fade and peel there. i might just take the hood off and try to redo that. i just have to find what color they used! thanks though
