trikesled guy's garage

Ok heres the list dont have any pics yet to post but heres the list anyways. The last one is the reason I'm new to the forum.

1974 Yamaha TX750 street bike (needs restored-running-not ridable) *
1979 Suzuki DS125 dirt bike (85% restored- not running) *
1983 Honda ATC70 three wheeler (100% restored)
1983 Honda GL1100 Goldwing street bike (95% restored)
1983 Yamaha YTM200ERN three wheeler (all orignal no need to restore) TRADED
1985 Honda ATC350X three wheeler (99% restored-runs like a raped ape)
1986 Suzuki LT185G four wheeler (needs restored-not running) *

and the new addition that the 83 Yamaha 3 wheeler was traded even up for......

1997 Polaris Indy 600 XLT Special (all orignal no need to restore)

and just a quick note the ones with asteriks are up for bids or trades..lol

Their only scary if you try to make fast turns without your rear end on the inside fender..lol. Mines even scarier then stock since i bumped the compression from 9.25-1 to 10.50-1 one problem with that is it was already hard to kick start stock..now it's even worse...lol...you dont know how strong you are til you try to kick start a 350cc one lunger with 10.50-1 compression...

the bike your talking about was made by Honda its the ATC250R. Yamaha also made the TRI-Z which was 250cc 2 stroke. Those two bikes were the fastest production threewheelers ever made. The bike i have is the fastest 4 stroke ever made.

I remember the days of the 250R man they where fast. Had a friend in Mass who had one they called him the fox. It was cool to out run the cops and rangers back then. we use to ride in the state woods in Lowell MA and have them chase us all the time. Did some real stuppid stuff back then. Should never of come out of those years with my head attached way to many close calls.

Yea the days of trikes are long gone all because there was so many people that couldnt understand for some unkown reason why a 3wheeled vehicle couldnt be taken across steep hills or take corners very well at 30mph. And then there was the lawyers who saw nothing but dollar signs cuz technically noone said they were tipsy in corners. If it wasnt for those lawyers trikes would still be here today. Right when they were starting to get really good with full sport suspensions in 85 and 86 is when all that bull went down. You dont know how many people come up to me when i ride my trikes and say " i thought those things were illegal" ...no the manufactures voluntarily quite making them to avoid all the silly lawsuits.

Go check out 3wheelerworld.com they have tons and tons of information and pics on all the trikes ever made. Even the ones from manufacturers you've never heard of. It's an awesome site.

well said!!

i've still have a 1984 honda big red that starts on the first push of the button!! runs like a top!! i'm still looking for a honda 250sx, shaft drive reverse.. perfect utility puller... i always hated those stupid lawsuits... growing up in 8th grade i had a 90 & a 110 and kid in the same school's parents got him a 250r honda! the kid was tiny as hell and of course he wiped out and almost killed himself! his parents were one of hundreds that sewed honda over having 3 wheels... it was a bunch of B.S....

CHEERS TO THE 3WHEELER ATC!!

ps.. the kid was an a$$ hole!!
