1585cc motor, about 60 hp. 31 inch mudds, 22 gallon aluminum gas tank, straightpipes, drum brakes on all 4 corners

for interior, im buying corbeau baja ss suspension seats this week, along with a padded fiberglass rear bench seat to mount on top of the gas tank. ill get a tan or grey carpeting kit, i still need to paint it, finish interior, re-wire it, and buy a hydraulic pedal assembly.

shouldnt be too bad...

will 60 hp be enough? you should build a turbo setup and make like 300.

i think that has the same engine my old dune buggy had in it... 5 speed?

nope, 4 speed. either u had a corvair setup, or a custom tranny, vw only had 4 speed sticks in the aircooled models.

yeah 60 should be enough the gearing is good.

i haave no idea what i had all i know is that the engine looks the same, mine had a 5 speed, and it came out of a bug. i got the thing for free though and then gave it to a friend becasue i don't have a welder here to finish it.
