re: fuel tank leak hazard in cooperation with transport canada and the U.S.consumer product safety commission .recall problem it was identified that a limited quantity of fuel tanks may develop a crack which could permit liquid fuel and or fuel vapor to leak . if such leakage occurs, a spark or flame may ignite fuel vapors and can potentially cause serious injures or even death to rider or bystanders. Confirmed this with my dealer, it is legit. They caught alot of them before shipping and are making repairs at the factory, therefore there is somewhat of a delay getting the 08's out to the smaller dealers. Alot of them got out before the fix as well. Thanks for the info jimbo
