Have you recently been on ebay and checked for the new xbox? I did. You know what I saw? Auctions going for $900 and even people with a Buy It Now for $6,500!!!

That is completely crazy! I decided to get a few and sell them there, and I missed out on the last 2 at my local K-mart by a few minutes. Man, I would have made some serious cash! Oh well, nothing but the fevered dreams of madmen.... ramble ramble....

Anyways, I found out that most stores only recieved 15 consoles and there won't be any more out untill after the new year. I am not a big fan of video games, so I didn't really care. I can buy one in a year for around $200-300, I'm sure of it.

Now to the poll, how much would you pay for it?

i was just watching this on the news. its crazy what people are willing to pay to get one. this one guy orderd when back in may and just took the next 2 day's off of work to play it.

If I ever buy it, it will probably be 2 years from now. Thats how I got my xbox. All the people get tired of it, it goes down to like $200, and a bunch of good games are released.

You can buy such a cool computer for like $700 that does a WHOLE lot more. Plain stupid to pay that much for an Xbox.

i wouldnt pay anymore than what they are asking...im not getting it though, im happy with my older xbox.

well im definetly not giving apple a penny unless its toward my ipod! hate them...and mac which is apple...

microsoft does try to screw you though...30 bucks for a cheap remote to play dvd's when the thing can already play them?!

why do u hate macs so badly, i use one all the time, one reson i like em is cause they don't really ever get viruses and spyware and all that Sh*t (i've never heard of a virus on a mac & i don't know anyone who has),also doesn't this look a lot cooler than a plain white pc tower

what i dont get was there was a 30 xbox limit at each store. 20 were the full thing, then 10 were the ones with no hardrives, but there were a lot more than 30 people standing outside the stores here

Well that was dumb, most of that stuff isn't true for mine at all, mine hardly ever "crashes" or "locks up", i mean ounce in a while but every computer does, and i can recover a file very easily, when i drag stuff from a cd onto my desktop it does copy it (not just a shortcut like he said), oh yeah and the thing about the key shortcuts, they aren't as hard as he said, and it does shut down right when i tell it to (even when i push the power button!) take this from someone who has used macs for while. Have u used a mac, what a bad experience or something?

I have used macs before. I would definetly buy one if all I did was run cad software and stuff, but not for everyday use. That doesn't mean they are a pos, just that there isn't enough support out there.

That's some funny stuff. Mind you last I heard there are a whopping two viruses for the mac. And it can't be worse than windoze 98 se... in which I had to reinstall the entire operating system because an Internet Explorer update downloaded improperly.
