It was $2.15 for reg. here in N. Michigan. It is expected to hit around $3.00 per gallon by summer. I ws watching the news today, and they were saying that crude was sitting about $0.25 under the record high per barrel at 2:00PM. This is bullcrap. I probably shouldn't mention politics, but I think it's are stupid f'n republican president. you know, those 2 oil men that hold the office of president and vice president of this United States Of America. I also heard that Michigan is in the top 5 states for the highest gasoline prices in the USA.

I was absolutely blown away by gas price on the East coast this last summer! You could drive 5 miles and prices would change more than twenty cents a gallon! In Alaska, the farther out of town you get, the more expensive gas gets. some of the smaller towns are paying almost $3/gallon. I noticed in NH,ME,RI,VT etc.. the prices went down when you got outside city limits. Why is that?? Lazy people have to penny up and pay for having the lack of interest in saving money? It was nice coming home and paying almost 30 cents less per gallon here. Premium is still less than $2 if you go to the right pumps. Biggest bummer here is that almost nobody pumps higher than 90 octane I can pump regular for less than $1.75 if I shop around

Thank you Mr. President and Gov. and Gov. Grandhole... I mean Granholm. How is are economy supposed to get better when we have to pay an average $3.00 a gal. for gasoline. I think there's a few pll in office making alot of money right now because of the price hike on crude oil. Mr. Bush want to drill for oil in Alaska. That isn't gonna solve the problem for the economy. Can you say "Charter 11". The way I see it, we only have to put up with these prices for 4 more years. After that I think that congress should audit Bush and Cheneys personal finaincal records. Somebody in Washington D.C. is making alot of money right now.
I'm not a democrat, nor am I a republican. I do know 1 thing. When There was a democrat in office, the economy was booming, and the price of gas was at a comfortable price. I had a good paying job and didn't have to worry if I was gonna have enough money to make my next house payment. Now we have a republican in office. Since then, I've been laid off from my good paying job. I'm now working for peanuts and wondering if I can make that house payment. About the only thing that is good about this is, that the energy fund in my 401k is making alot of money. I'm sorry if I stepped on anyones feet here, but I'm sure that there arre some ppl with the same views. sorry for the book.
