i found a 1986 Yamaha YZ 125 for sale in our local truck/bike/RV trader for 1000$. It has a newer rear tire, brakes and i tihnk a chain too. looks like a good bike. Anyone had experience with these bikes or have an idea of what a deal would be? thats Canadian by the way.

how much would that be american?

Friend used to have one and it needed to be rebuilt about every winter (it was newer though) but the yz is deffinately the fastest 125 2 stroke out there! if you go look at it, check the compression because maybe it needs a top end replaced in it. and also try it out
