as long as it's just you you're affecting and it's controlled. i used to do it, but then it started getting too much and everything seemed to be dissapearing. 1 day you'll realize how much it really does and how much you've lost doing it. to me it's not worth it at all. if any of my friends are doing it, i just walk away.

this may sound weird - I've never smoked it, but I'm 100% for legalizing it

I think it should be legalized. I don't smoke it myself but a lot of my friends do. I don't think it's any worse than alcohol.

I'm a pothead. I've been smoking regularly for many years. IMO, Alcohol is more dangerous to your health and causes you to lose more control of everything. Marijuanna does not make you stupid, it doesn't even cause much more damage than ciggarettes to your health. The reason it is illegal and will stay that way is because the US government makes more money on it being illegal due to fines you would have to pay for getting caught, and ALOT of people get caught, and then the weed is confiscated. Now, do you think they just destroy this confiscated weed? No, It is then put back into circulation by the Government. So they sell it back (money for the government) then somwhere down the line they bust someone get fine money and money from selling it. The government makes more money on it than a dealer does. If it was legalized they would lose all this money because it is very easy to grow if you don't have to worry about hiding it.

Maybe dumb, but most likely true. The Government is made up of the biggest scam artists and crooks in the US. Drinking is worse for your mental and physical health than smoking. I've been in legal trouble from the effects of drinking, as well I have had alcohol poisoning from drinking (almost didn't make it). Nothing bad has ever come from my smoking of weed! Now the problem with non smokers is that because of lack of experience and brain washing from the lawmakers they confuse weed with other drugs like Cocaine or Crack, they think a pothead is going to steal from their family and commit crimes to support their habbit. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN!!!!!!! Those are traits of Crack heads and coc heads, Which yes, if you want to change the subject "I AM TOTALLY AGAINST COC AND CRACK" because they are drugs that have a terrible effect on your life. Yes, I know this because of 2 family members that have got caught up in those other two mentioned drugs above, which caused them to throw their lives away and steal from me, my parents and others in the family to support their habbit. Maybe you know someone who ruined their lives, and maybe you know they smoke pot, but most likely what you weren't told is that they have moved on to a bad habbit like Crack or Cocaine along with their weed smoking. I will say this once, you can agree or disagree, it's totally your decision what you think of pot. "THE ONLY THING BAD ABOUT WEED IS THE FACT THAT IT IS ILLEGAL!!"

To start this off, I dont smoke, or drink (Underage). I get my high from skiing fast, Running hard, Swimming strong, and busting my balls on someone at the paintball field.

Its is accepted to me though, but at partys if someone offers me a puff, i just nod em no, and point to my cup of warm tang.

Weed is safer then alcohol, because it dosent mess with your brain chemisry as much. I am not a fan on how it is not controled by the goverment like alcohol. This means that the weed your smoking could be laced with anything, most of wich could result in deadly results. Not a fun thing. But i think it would be great if it was legalized, would get my vote over booze any day.

JimmyV, you make a good point, but you been blazing to much because the goverment dosent do that; I know this because my dad was in the FBIs' anti narcotics team for 7 years or so.

And for the record any other illigal substance other then weed, is illigal for a reason, it f***s you up for the rest of your life.

Your absolutely right. It's mostly just my opinion. But the part about making money on legal fines for arrests or tickets relating to weed is a "large" income for the legal system. I must say though, If you don't smoke (weed or ciggarettes) I'm happy for ya. Keep your health. But I'm just going to ask the non smokers to "please" not look at the smokers as burnout losers, because I'm a pothead and I've amazed my whole family at how far I have gotten in life and how well I'm doing for my age. There's not another person in my family that has done as well or has had as much as I have at the age I am now. So please man!, give us potheads a break! It's the other drugs that are the enemy, It's the other drugs that destroy lives. Sorry if I'm rude on this last line, but for the ones who are totally against it who have never tried it. You can't teach or preach something without experience.

If your doing so good in life then why would you want to do drugs because you could loose your job over it, and im guesing you have a okay job since you said you were doing good so is that worth it just to smoke.

I smoke it fairly often (atleast a few times a week), but I see nothing wrong with it - as long as you dont smoke yourself stupid and go through an O in a day, it's all good.

I know people who deal and smoke it on the side to friends and such, but they dont let it get in the way of their daily life. They all have regular jobs and such.

I think it should be legalized.

I do it because I enjoy it. I don't have to worry about losing my job. I've been at this job for years and never get tested, and I never get high at work. IMO, one of the most important things in life is Enjoying life. I don't smoke down all day, every day like I did in my younger days, normally a few times a week or more, all on free time not work time.
