It doesn't matter if you dont do it at work it stays in you system fir like 2 months or somethin like that. I know someone that had there job for a long time and then they tested him and he got fired. So if you think it is worth risking your job then it's your choice.

I have done it before, and I don't do it regularily. Once as a matter of fact, but I do think it should be llegalized. If it has an age like normal cigarettes so be it, but if they legalise and regulate it they could make unbelievable amounts of money on taxing it for sales and disturbution....

Buckshot,
YOU are absolutley right! If the government legalized it and TAXED it. Huge amounts of money could be made by the US government. Put an age restriction on it like alchohol and cigarettes, and regulate it in the same manner that you do with public intoxication, drinking and driving, etc. etc. Oh and by the way the money that is made through the taxation would begin to get ourselves out of the trillions of debt that George W has created for us in the last couple of years. Did you know that MF'r has put us back in debt when Bill Clinton had practically wiped out the deficit? Sorry to change the subject people, just had to put my two cents in. So....how about them snowmobiles??

It could help with the taxes, as long as they made it illegal to grow. Growing is very easy, and if they legalize use and ability to grow there wouldn't be enough people buying the taxed stuff to make a substantial difference in government income.

Excellent point! The government would just have to make sure that their version is as potent as what one could grow in their backyard. Anyone caught still growing would be dealt with accordingly. Sounds like we got it pretty much worked out. Maybe we should run for President!!!

i've never smoked and refuse to. i just dont like the smell or feeling. i have friends that do. not everyone who smokes is like cheech and chong.
as for me i only chew tabacco and drink. but no alchohol around sleds
if it was legal i think the use would go down. i think many wouldnt do it just for the fact its legal

i think they should just let people do what they want when it comes to this tiopic.....if they wanna grow it on their property or in their house, for personal use only then so be it. its our lives and we should be able to live iot the way we choose too.....if that includes smoking/growing pot.....aslong as u are smart with it and dont let it ruin ur life everything will be good.....woould u guys rather drive home with a stoned person or someone who has been drinking and/or is drunk? y can it be legal in other countries and not here? i wanna be prime minister!!!!! jane isn't like some labortory drug where u mix chemicals together to get a substance...it is naturally grown and smoked.

Pot will never be legalized for one reason and one reason only. You cant tax someone for growing their own. Marijuana is used in the medical profession, or i should say for cancer treatment, and the government taxes on that. If they legalized that drug then they would have years of arguments to legalize more. In order to legalize taxable marijuana all the plants homegrown in the US would need to be taken over or destroyed... IMPOSSIBLE. They thought out many ways to do it but cant. Paying a tax on a certain amount and having proof of ownership is one. Having no more than taxed amount in possesion on persons or home is two. And many more. Say you pay a 1 ounce tax and grew 150 pounds in your basement and sold 1 ounce at a time so you aint caught with more than you've been taxed for on the street, you would make a fortune and the government wont make a dime on anything for the fact it would be legal to have 1 ounce of tax paid weed on you. It will never end and who will you buy from then, the government or the guy down the block in the Mercedes or Cadillac who is cheaper. If you want to get high legally go to Amsterdam like everyone else. Its legal there and sold everywhere in almost every store. Get caught selling to someone or a minor and your either imprisoned for life no questions asked or shot on site, you choose. Taxing makes the world go round and something the government cant get there hands in the pot on, no pun intended, they make illeagal. If you need more info on this subject go to any government site on this subject, not any pot lovers site cause thats already too bias, and get the fact to do the math....My 2 cents.

Does anyone else have Spikoli's voice running through there heads when reading some of these replies. I have tried it back in college, but I don't think it needs to be legalized. You legalize pot and that opens the floodgates for everything else.

true... but look at Amsterdam, only some drugs are legal there.
in school, they told us it'd be "forced on us" but they ask and you say no and they're cool about it. i dont care if you do it or not, thats your decision. i dont plan on smoking pot, but it happens. you never know: youre at a party and you take a hit once. as long as i plan on only doin once, if ever, i should be alright. i've got good enough control to do that.
its just somethin you have to deal with.
but the cost would go down if it was legalized due to basic company competition. there woul dbe some

Yeah I know, but don't forget this doesn't include tax. Think you could cut me a deal with a larger amount? One ounce for 6 easy payments of $19.99? Ha Ha.
