You need to jack that truck up about 4 inches.

nope no more lift except maybe a b/l to help clearance (front rubs at full lock full flex) right now it needs a fuel pump, gas tank, and lines/wiring all replaced if i nail the gas tank with a hammer it starts right up

Exactly, I can tell the front rubs the wells from experience. The worst spot on those years is when turning the wheel most of them rub the front bumper. If you want to do any real offroading you have to lift it, otherwise it's not a whole lot better than a 2wd. Only better on flat land. I once had a 96 150 extended cab up 6 inches on 35's. Lifting doesn't do anything bad for gas mileage, only bigger tires do. And in that case, it's as simple as changing the axle gearing. If your worried about gas mileage, get a freakin moped, lol. I personally don't even pay attention to gas mileage or prices myself, I have enough more important worries in my life. I know that I never buy things for the gas mileage or efficiency, and I probably never will.

well if u own a real truck, like a full size truck, your purpose for buying it is obviously for towing, 4x4, or some other use...and not for good gas mileage...with the exception of a diesel for highway miles

i dont worry about gas prices or mileage. first i own what i have because its what i want. and im fully aware of how it performs. and im happy about it.

and there would be no way in hell id ever buy a lil 4 banger kia, honda, or something of that nature...just no way

I agree with PolarisIndy, I mean, if you buy a truck, you better know that you're not going to get the same gas mileage is a Geo. The only "real" purposes for a truck is towing, hauling, stuff that hort of nature. It's not going to be a Geo where you can only fit a backpack in.
