My son got this nice 8 point the morning of Sept. 22nd.

Congrats to your son SnowRida and to you. It’s nice to see dad’s who are still interested in getting their kids involved in the outdoors. My best hunting and fishing trips are when my son and my dad are with me. |

MI. now holds an early youth hunt Sept.22-23rd every year. You can hunt with a bow or gun. He was really excited due to the fact he won't be able to hunt much due to his hockey schedule.
But yes, opening day of bow hunting was Oct. 1st. |

My wife just got her deer on tues.  Mon was horrible weather but like clock work they came out at 8am tues. and we where in the jacuzzi at 9am.  This is the secound year in a row shes gotten one in the first few days and im so proud of her, small doe but processed out to 35#'s of meat.

Yea we have a trophy wall going. I'm getting a full shoulder mount done for him. The taxidermy let him take the rack home for show and tell so to speak until their ready for it. |

got mine yesterday
Hey Snowrida,
Just got mine yesterday. Its a doe but she'll eat well and I'm done for the season. 32yds out 20ft in the air 8:12am 3 came in 2 left.

Nice doe. I was out this weekend myself and seen all does and 1 spike. I passed on all of them. Waiting for the rack to walk by.
