Look for us on Pinks this Thusday 9/13/07
The show will be aired on speed channel this thursday 9/13 at 9pm. Most of you know what the car looks like. On another note i took the car down to the track on saturday and ran the best time the car has ever run on motor ever. 11.38@117. will be going back to the track friday to try and get some 9second nitrous blasts on film finally. Anyway look for us this thursday.
heres the car

I used to race go-karts at IRP back in the day. Saw that Jim Rathman trailer...same guy that used to run Indy 500??

Holy. MONKEYS. I have a habit of asking if I can drive something like that, but I'd likely kill myself...and probably do some damage to the car.
Gorgeous.

the car is actually real easy to drive. stage hold trans brake and floor it, lights go green release Trans brake. then bang the gears 1 2 3.Then let the chutes go.
JK no chutes yet.

Looked for you.....saw 2 blue Camaros.....1 with stripes & 1 w/o. Did you make it past the 1st round?? Who was driving??
Anyway, what a turn-out at Milan...over 400 cars!!
Didn't they end up using sixteen 9.5 sec. cars? I was confused!!

you know what...i missed the darn episode...TWICE.
i had to work late so i missed it when it aired the first time. then by some strange reason i forgot to set the reminder on my sh|t-cast (aka comcast) for the re-run.
i guess i'll have to check back and see when it plays again.

my dad was driving. he made it to the final 16 but was eliminated first round. His name is doug jaynes. they interview him after the round he was eliminated and said something like "I had a great time, And the car ran the best time it ever has, Got in to the 9s, its a good thing" I have it recorded and will burn it to dvd soon. Anyway they picked a 16 car field of 9.90 cars and they had to defend their position against 16 10.10 cars. We were in the 10.10 cars, but the guy we race broke. so we moved up to the final 16. They show in car racing and everything of my dad it was cool. And in the beginning montage of the show the cut to a clip of my dad yelling "this is some nerve racking racing!" he also says another part later in the show when they are about to run the 16. "I was getting ready to load up on the trailer when they called me back in!" Just giving ya guys some stuff to listen out for. look for the bald guy in sun glasses. and we are the car WITH stripes.

If you click the link, the pic comes up with the car having stripes on the hood, but the pics in the upper right, the car doesn't have stripes. Same car?

No way....Hard on the motor. Plus (here anyway), at the dragstrip, people call juice cheater systems, and that if you can't make raw HP with the engine, just take the easy way out and juice it. I don't know why that is now, I think it's bacause of all the ricers at the strip nowadays.
