I'm using 64cc heads, compression will be right around 10:1. I could have pushed it maybe another .3 or .5 but with how crappy todays gas is I'd rather just take a little bit of loss in power and not have to worry. Its a sbc (350) bored .030 over with a longer stroke and 6" rods (making it a 383).

nice. O was gunna say i have flat top piston in my 350 with 64cc vortec heads and it it just right round 10:1. But now that i read that you have a longer stroke i see where the dished pistons come in to play to make it 10:1. Nice motor i think the next motor i built will be a aluminum headed 406, for the formula that is. that camaro has about a 12:1 motor and on nitrous. But we still run it on pump gas when we arnt spraying it.

It took every ounce of strength I had to a) not laugh at him in the courtroom, and b) not slap him for being so stupid (this was a continuation of his attempt to make fun of me for being a small-town girl).

I could imagine a sbc in a sled until you hit some deep powder, then you'd be digging a hole to china for sure, and no lifting that sucker out
