I just tried out a banshee for the first time this weekend and holy crap I might have to get out sledding for a bit and pick one up Seriously it reminded me a lot of a sled but you can use it for a garanteed 6 months, more if you don't mind studding the tires. A lot less fuel and oil to go threw as well.

Don't do it mann we lost way to many snowmobilers cause of last winter!!! also in my opinion theres nothin even close to sledin. the beauty of the snow covered land, rippin down trails and the sheer speed and performance of a sled you can't hit 90plus mph on a quad and to be hounst some of the best people i've ever meet was cause of snowmobileing!!!

i can hit 90 on my dirtbike if i gear it right, does that mean its ok?

you should test ride the new 450's. if you ever come down to mass, you gotta try my honda trx450r. im gunna ride that thing all the time in the winter if the trails are hard packed . i get like 45-50 mpg if i cruise. cant beat that especially when my sled gets like 12.
