Recovery time after wisdom teeth pulled?

Well, i have one of my wisdoms coming in and it hurts.

So, i need it pulled. How long did it take alot of you to recover? Like go back to work? 2-3days?

Next day for me, I had no troubles and I work at home (at the time it was daycare, though, so it was a bit demanding as a job). But my teeth were only soft-tissue impacted, not impacted in the bone, and I think that makes a sizable difference. If you're only having one out, you shouldn't be too bad off.

The best advice I can give is to schedule for a Friday so you minimize time off. It's not sled season anyway, so what else do you have to do all weekend but recover!!

I had my two top ones pulled. They were almost out on their own. Nothing to stop them from staying in or to push against. Within 3 hours, I was at a boat dealership buying a new boat motor and enjoying life again.

I have 4 out, 2 were fully impacted, 2 were partial. I only had novacane, if I had to do it again I'd be put out. I took the day of and the day after off. Back to functioning on 3rd day.

I had all four of mine pulled this summer. The bottom two were impacted, my top two were done hurting a few hours after. But i got dry socket in both my bottom ones. The dry socket thing wasn't as bad as its all hyped up to be. I was put out during the whole thing and got a bottle of vicodin for the days after, i think the worse part was the anesthesia wearing off.
