Who else here has the perfect job to work with our sport?

Hey everyone. I woke up this morning, -25 deg out, drove my wife to work at the hospital, drove home and slept for another hour or two. I then got up, got ready for the day and went for a rip on my sled in clear, cold, white powder with no destination in mind, no cares in the world, and I realized something. I am one of the few people lucky enough to have a job that completely works around snowmobiling.

I don't mean to come on and brag to all the 9 to 5'ers out there, I used to be one of you guys years ago. I work seasonal as a fire ranger in northern Ontario so I work from April till October or so. I make as much if not more than I ever did working year round and I have the ENTIRE winter off to hunt, trap, fish, ice fish, and yes, SLED my brains out lol.

So I was wondering who else is lucky enough to live like this and what is it YOU do?

I'm second in command at my warehouse and I take most of my vacation in the winter . But my boss is the coolest. He tells me every year that if it snows, take the day off and go ride. He doesn't care at all. Thats why I get to go to Michigan once in January, and once in Febuary this year.
I have a couple other buddies that are the same way. We are all pretty much on stand-by in the winter, and our bosses know it.Its the wives we gotta coax to let us go
more than anything. But they're usually pretty good about it.

I make my own schedule at work also, plus I only work 4 day weeks (4 10 hr days). I take whatever days off I want when I make the next weeks schedule, so it works out great!!

It's a known fact at work, when the snow flies, I'm gone. Plus, I can pretty much do what I wanna do anyway
