Who has winters off

Ok just thought I would ask. How many of you guys are laid off this winter? How many can get as much time off as they want? Just trying to see how many mid week riders there are out there.

The last few years I've been working at a golf course, so we got winters off. Although I'm in school now so aside from 2 weeks in February it'll just be weekend trips for me.

I still go to work 4 days a week for 9 hours a day, but it's so slow that when I'm not on here I'm either napping under a backhoe or sweeping the same dirt pile from one side of the building to the other. Oh, that, or I'm working on the sleds and driving them around the parking lot... Today I acutally spent a lot of time with a backpack blower just blowing the snow off of stuff. But anyway, I ride on tuesdays and wednesdays this year.

I don't have winters off, but it is very well understood that when the snow falls anywhere between me and the U.P., I'm gone. Usually require 2 week notice for time off, B.S.!!
I told them when I can get a 2 week notice on snowfall, Then they may get one. Fortunately they like me and are willing to let it slide.
