i just heard about this today. i called doug and he is devastated. if anyone has seen his show you will understand. this was a lifelong passion for him. if anyone can help, great if not its good reading.

I'm all for it. his whole life was in that car, talking to his wife today she said the guy who had it was a well known business man in the area.

what i dont get is the probably didnt have a clue as to what they were stealing, but after opening up the trailer and seeing an obvious one of a kind jet car, one would think ditch this thing as soon as possible. not chop it up and set it outside your shop!

That first link is taking forever to load...but, I already know how suck-tastic this is going to be. I can't, for the life of me, understand WHY some people fail to grasp the concept "If it's not yours, do NOT touch it!!" That engine probably won't ever be back, unfortunately.

We were down in Boone, IA for IMCA Super Nationals this year. One guy had his whole trailer stolen from the hotel while it was parked there between race days. Trailer, car, tools, everything. A-holes.

yeah, there will always be theives. you just have to make your **** difficult enough to steal that they choose to take someone elses!
