i went back to MI for the long weekend
helped assemble a portion of our dock, put the boat in the water, and adjusted the shore station.
bad part of the weekend was when the boat overheated...spiked at 240 deg. evidently when claves marina winterized the boat last fall they took it for a spin around the lake and ran it in muck.
so when i put it in, and drove off the "sand trap" was clogged and didnt allow water to cool the motor. took the part off the motor and took it to claves. they said they didnt do it, but my dad and i didnt believe him...either way, they cleaned it out and 2 hrs later we had it all fixed.....well, sorta....on a test run to see if it was running right, we poped a power steering line and leaked fluid in the bilge....fixed that too. after those hick ups, we were clean sailing for the rest of the weekend...oh, our boat is a four winns 19' w/ a 5.0 V8
