shoot I'd tivo the games and watch them...but seems for some reason the WB shows always end up being recorded instead. Weird freak of technology? Or is there a deeper conspiracy? I love watching the pistons play though. Was there a game on today? I didn't check 'cause I was out on the slip'n'slide with my kids.

no, only if DET is in the playoffs...then ill just watch some of the games.
basketball doesnt really interest me (for various reasons). but ill root for my home teams anyday.
when i was on the plane to miami earlier this week, the guy next to me was talking all this **** about how det sucks and how the cavs should have won (hes a miami fan). really started to irritate me, but i let it slide.

I liked it until pro scores started equaling high school scores. You pay $30 per ticket or whatever and the score is 95-82? I remember when 120 was the average team points in a game....

Actually, I hate basketball, but the Wings got knocked out, this is the only thing in downtown. At least they still have a shot.

Only thing in town??? 
The Tigers have won 12 out of their last 13 & lead the majors. It's nice to see Ilitch finally spend some money on them....hope he gets rewarded!

yes, it is sweet that the tigers can finally have some wins under their belt. usually they have a couple winning streaks, then fall off. atleast now they look like a baseball team.
my buddy (also a former michigander, who lives/works here) has tickets to the tigers/cubs game here in chi-town...it will be awesome when the cubs loose (go sox )
