Massive flooding in NH this weekend
We've had some SERIOUS rain here this weekend, up to 10 INCHES in 2 days in spots. The governor declared a state of emergency also. As far as I know, no deaths yet here, but it's chaos in places. Example:

They said this is the worst flooding NH has ever seen....The news story mentions Milton dam, that's the one in my town. Residents are also evacuating here....Check out this link and click on slideshows on the right side of the page for more pics.

i cross this bridge every morning to get to school. the water is about 20ft higher than normal

i have a few friends that live in this road. its about 5 miles from my house. i called them up today and said they wont be able to get to school for a few days.

yeah I saw the headline on msn so I thought I'd jump on here and see how SEG and the rest of you New Hampshirites were doin. Looks pretty nasty. Katy Couric will probably be canoeing down one of those roads in the morning.....

im no structural engineer, but "if" that dam gives way, i wouldnt be cought anywhere near it...

id hate to see that happen too. you never know what could happen. afterall thats why the dam is there in the first place.

hopefully this weather will die down for you NH'ers soon.

Thanks for the good wishes, all. Mouse, there was massive flooding last October on the other side of the state, same damage.
