opinions on lord of war

do you like or not?

i absolutely loved it.. it shows a realistic example about gun runners and how arm traffic works..

not to mention it' based on a real story..

Haven't watched it yet...so don't spoil it for me. Any of you guys into the home theater stuff? I got irritated with going to the theater and paying that much for ok sound and a large but somewhat distorted picture and kids whining and teenagers playing on thier cell phones and I just couldn't take it anymore. So I made my own home theater and can own the movie for less than watching it at the theater with one other person.

I thought the movie was pretty good. I might have liked it more if when I watched it I hadn't just got done watching Jarhead. Thats a great movie too. I recommend it.

I thought it was pretty good. I thought the beginning was a great portrayal of the life of a bullet!

I thought it was pretty good. It showed a realistic view of what we don't usually see from Hollywood. It wasn't all pretty, soft and fluffy, but who wants to c that anyway.

funny part is:

a friend of mine travels all over the world, he sells special vehicule for aluminium factories. heres the site where he works ... CLICKY

he went practically everywhere to sell those australia, finland mexico.. you name it, he went to south affrica a few times and it was scary as hell .. well he came back 3 days ago from there and told me his boss wanted him to go to a factory in mozambique ( Ak 47 on the flag) hell, when he got off to airport over there he was scarfed as whell.. he asked a guard at the airport (who had a AK47 on him) if he took a taxi cab to the factory would he get killed by the taxi cab or attacked on the way to the factory....

so he got in the taxi cab,.. lookd like a 1987 nissan sentra with no first gear( had to start in second) no A/C lock doors and windows up coze you can get hijacked in broad day light over there..

he said it was exactly like the movie...next time he goes there i told him get some sick pics.. for credibility
