yourmp3.net and mpeg-search.com both have free music and they don't require a download like bittorrent or kazaa. Bare in mind that free music is usually illegal music though.

I've never used limewire personally, but I've talked to various computer techs and they said they had to actually reinstall windows on a lot of people's machines because of that program.

Whatever you do, use an anti-virus/anti-spyware/anti-adware/firewall program when you start going to websites that offer file sharing programs and/or free music.

iv had lime wire for liek 2 years and have never had a problem with it. And everyone taht gets virus's its prolly from all the Pr0n they download. I just regualry run ad aware and anti virus. So far iv not gotten a virus.

I had limewire and it had so much music, but it did mess up my computer. my g/f has bareshare and she loves it.

I use limewire, not a single problem.. Kazaa screwed up my computer so i tried limewire and it works fine!

i had imesh on my old computer. the only reason the comp crashed was because of my brother, hes messed up at least 3 computers by playing games and downloading crap. but when it was my computer, Imesh worked great and the comp never froze up.

Unfortunatly I still run windoze. The funniest (in a sick way) thing to happen to me yet with that company was when Norton Internet Security informed me someone was attempting to hack me. I traced their IP address and lo and behold I traced the user back to the Microsoft headquarters. That's right, Microsoft tried hacking me
