scrap this thread

I have a 2001 Arctic Cat ZR 600 and I am wanting to get handle bar hooks. Does anyone know if the hand warmer wires are run in the handle bars... and if they are what do you do if you want hooks?

I dont think that the heater wires extend into the hooks. My brother has an '03 Pro-X 700 that he bought used. The previous owner put hooks on it and my brother had to remove the hooks to make his cover fit the sled.
He removed the hooks (all that holds them on is 1 screw), removed the grips, installed Predator grips and didnt have to modify the heater wires at all.

I mean do the hand warmer wires run in the handlebars in a way that if you were to stick hooks in the end of the bars would they cut or pinch the warmer wires?
