Snocross athlete Caleb Moore is in critical condition right now after developing heart and brain complications from his crash in X Games freestyle competition:

Here too. From an online newspaper post:
People choose their own lives, and how many chances they take with it. Moore knew that he could kill himself, and chose to live this way. Respect his choice, even if you would choose differently. May his family find peace.

Always sad to hear about lost lives, doesn't matter how they are lost. We've had a rash of highway deaths in the last few weeks as people drive too fast on icy roads putting themselves and others at risk. At least Caleb wasn't putting others at risk while enjoying life. Live fast, die young.
