Lake racing sled??
What would be the fastest lake racing sled, stock? Nothing with mods or anything, just stock. Any sled for just a drag race across the lake. Can anyone post what sleds they are driving along with you they have beaten or lost to?

I see a lot of RX1s go down the track around here anyway. Not sure if they had a turbo or not. I'm sure some did. Go to some drags, watch the stock class to see who does what with what and talk it up with the racers if you don't get what your looking for on the forum... Even if you do, go anyway........

No Yami will Not put a turbo on a stock sled!
At the moment the fastest stock sled is the Cat 100 Turbo! PERIOD!
And before that would have been the 01 T Cat!

Agreed with the 100 turbo and the t-cat. I would love to have a thundercat! Shallow pockets

You miss understood my post. I wasn't trying to imply that the turbos would be stock.... Maybe I should have worded it better.....

Ya, those RX-1's are real fast and smooth! My brother has one, and its a cool sled. Im runnin a 2009 Polaris 600IQ r (trail converted) which isnt much of a lake sled, but it will pound the trails, wheelie, and ill beat just about any body to 60 mph! Hahaha. Runs outa steam after that though. I heard those xf 1100 turbos by ACat scream on the lake

My "Baby Trip"(ZRT600) did well at the radar runs last year. Once it "hooks up" it screams across the pond.

01 or 02 SRX 700. stock for stock an srx will take most anything it comes against on a lake. they are just fast and smooth. won't take a t-cat 1000 or anything, but it will run with them and make the 800s think twice... plus the sound is great

My old '97 Skidoo Mach 1, all stock, is a pretty good beast on the lake if she hooks up well. I can take my buddy on his '01 800 Cat off the line to about sixty I think.
