Mxz 800 2002 problem need help

Ok so i just bought a mxz 800 2002 and took it for about 4 ride and didn't have any problem... but the last ride i made, all the lights (dash, headlight and brake light) became really weak (every light was working but they were so low that I could'nt see anything in the dark) and the rpm was going crazy like I was going at 6-7k rpm but the rpm was bouncing from 3 to 4 to 2k rpm So yesterday I check out all my wire and everything seems fine to me and I change my voltage regulator for a brand new and it didn't change anything The snowmobile is still running fine.
I need help lol

Is there a bad ground maybe? Try taking all the connectors apart and giver them a shot of WD40!

Either a bad ground or bad lighting coil on the stator.
