How much of a difference will a new track make?

I have a 02 mxz 800 and right now it has a .75 inch track and like half of the lugs are ripped! i was looking at a new camoplast 1.25 inch track. How much of a difference will it make? it is worth the $400 bucks? Do you think it'll stand up? Thanks!

I have the 1.25 Rip saw on my 02 ZR 800! With the double tap studs and it really hooks!

Im thinking of getting a new track next season for my mxz 700...current track is studded with id say approx. 3/4 inch lugs in which several are looking kinda rough. It moves along pretty well but would like to see it hook up a lil more in the fields.

What is the length of your track? I'm guessing 121" you might wont to look at used tracks on eBay or something. You can find nice looking ones with good lugs for say about $200. You just might wont to think about it.

Will it make a difference? Like night vs day. Is it worth the $400? You bet. At least "I" think it is. I recently put on a new 1.25 Ripsaw.

Huge Difference.

1.25 is the way to go too. Ripsaw/Predator whatever. There are some good ones.

Your going to lose a few MPH on top end but its worth it. It will great in powder and ditches.

You will notice a big difference, but I wouldn't consider anything short of a 1.5" to be 'good' in the powder. 1.25 is still mainly a trail track. Hooks good though.
