Putting on NEW BOGIE wheels

I have a '95 Skidoo MX with the C7 suspension. 4 of my bogie wheels (original aluminum wheels) have most of the rubber coming off of them. The bearings are also pretty bad. They will spin, but when I spin them I can feel the "gritty" feeling.

So, I bought 4 new wheels, the new ones are plastic with new bearings already pressed into them.

I have the old wheels off of the sled. 2 of them are on an aluminum block that bolts to rails. The other 2 that I'm replacing are mounted on a short axle that fits between the rails.

My problem is I can't get the old wheels off of these aluminum blocks or the short axle. I have sprayed them with PB Blaster which has always worked in the past, but not this time.

Anybody have any tricks you can pass on??

Also, I have heard of other people doing away with certain bogies on their suspension. Am I able to leave any of these bogies off and be safe to not ruin anything?

Kev

Unfortunately you're right.

I haven't used my puller in years, so it never came to mind when messing with these bearings.
