1992 cougar LC 440. I m wonder if there is a way to clean magneto/slater VS Buying parts. I. Put it away. For two years one of. Them was stored out side it was running when l put it away and now l have absolutely no spark. Any answers will be appreciated.

One I would start with making sure all the wiring is good, 2 I would then look at the coil packs see if your getting power to them and or the plugs. I have cleaned my stator with a Scotch Brite pad and a can of parts cleaner and clean up the magnets as well.
