1998 formula 500 air filter

Hello everybody, I am new to this forum. I sure appreciate all of the professional information that I am seeing. I recently purchased a 1998 Ski Doo Formula 500. It had not been run in about 3 years. I got the carbs cleaned and tuned and the machine runs really great. There's an air filter on the dash that was removed because it's so old that it's hard and kind of crumbling. I've been looking for a replacement air filter, and I have not had very much luck. I noticed that there are aftermarket air filters that seem to go right on the carburetors made by companies like K&N. I was looking for a recommendation as to where to find the original air filter, or if it's worthwhile to just go with an aftermarket 1 that goes right on the carburetors themselves. Thanks for the input and advice in advance.

Aftermarkets freeze up easily, so get the original replacement from a Doo dealer or eBay.
