Arctic Cat 1981 El Tigre Wont Accelerate past 5000 RPM

My snowmobile runs fine but just wont get past 5000 RPM. Spark plugs are fine, Carbs were cleaned a week ago. I ran it for a while and it was workin great but when i was riding it the rpm went down and just stayed there, I'm goin full throttle and its slow...(5000rpm) I heard maybe its only runnin on one cylinder but idk how to check. Any ideas from you guys would be great! Thanks!

Take the plugs out and see if they are both brown? You may have fouled one? With it running is one cyl warm and the other hot? When the carbs were cleaned, were the pilots (up the tube) flossed, poked threw? Did you clean the clutch sheves with a scotch bright pad and blown off real good? How about checking the center to center (10.2") on the clutches?
