At what RPM does your sled start moving?

My 02 mxz 800's clutch doesn't engage untill like over 4k rpm's. And its not smooth when it engades. My buddy has a zr 600 and it was extremly smooth engaging. and it didn't take as high of a rpm. He told me that he thought i needed to adjust the clutch. What do you all think?

My ZR600 engages at like 4800! He might have a clutch kit? He might just have a used belt issue?

Might try cleaning the primary, a sticky main bushing or sticky flyweights will increase the RPM necessary for engagement...

3000 might be a bit low for that Tiger.
