I have a 1998 formula 3 ski doo rotax 600 and the speedo is of by almost 30mph and I'm wondering if I could just replace it if that would fix but I'm not sure. Any ideas???

Is it set to MPH or KMH? The back of some speedos have 2 plugs for the cable.

Is it running too fast or too slow? If too slow the converter may be stripped.

Did it just start doing it? if it did, I'd say the speedo is bad.

Got any idea of where I could get a cheap one new ones are $250 and I'm not paying that much for a speedo

I'll answer this one how kccats was bound to, mmhhmm .. " A swap meet, they go for $7.39" lol! A little fun, sorry.. In all seriousness just keep your eyes peeled watching ebay, craigslist, and yes any swap meets you can find.
